"Eat, Drink and Curl", with Paul Skiba, BKin, RKin, RHN, CEP
St. Catharines Golf & Country Club

Would you play your next game without your broom or slider? No way. What about proper food and fluids? You might, and that's a problem. Improper nutrition may be costing you and your team the competitive advantage. Most of us know that eating well is vitally important, yet too often we drop good nutrition or don't know where to begin to fit good food and hydration into our competition weekends.

This ROCKTalk explores nutrition for competitive curling and offers practical tips on how to:

  • pick the best foods on restaurant and fast-food menus and avoid fast-food marketing traps

  • time your intake of food and fluids to remain mentally sharp and positive before, during and after games

  • use your phone to help keep you on track
