There's no doubt that  "practice makes perfect", but some of us waste time throwing rocks alone, or use random drills with our team at every practice. This may not generate results and can actually reinforce bad habits. It takes "Purposeful Practice" to achieve great results.

Clancy Grandy & Morgan Court of Team Flaxey are experts at putting practice time to good use. Ranked 5th in the world, Team Flaxey is weeks away from competing at the Roar of the Rings and is a major threat on the Grand Slam circuit. For them, it's all about hard work, setting clear objectives for practice and following through on the practice plan.

This ROCKTalk offers practical tips on how to create a purposeful practice plan for your team, define how often and how long you should practice and how to assess your practice performance. Teams will also learn how to set up pressure situations in practice to mimic real game pressures.
