The World of Juniors, with Scott Arnold

If anyone knows curling on the world stage it’s Scott Arnold. A Chartered Professional Curling Coach and Competitions & Development Officer for the World Curling Federation, Scott is responsible for helping countries manage the huge demand and develop junior curling programs and camps.

After a successful Men's competitive curling career, Scott established a business in London Ontario and simultaneously began a high-level coaching career. Scott is behind much of the research in sweeping and fitness that has led to our sport’s rapid progress in the last decade. We are trhilled to welcome Scott to our ROCKTalk podium.

With so much curling in Canada it’s tempting to stay home, get to junior worlds (if we’re lucky) or wait until we reach adult-level to enjoy world competition. But, advantage goes to those who learn how to travel and make international connections early.

For roughly the same cost as a trip to summer camp, affordable and fun international exchange programs and summer camps are out there for the taking. How about curling at an event in Copenhagen Denmark, or attending summer camp in Fussen Germany? Find out how you can grow your game AND your knowledge of the world with this ROCKTalk.
