"Enjoying Wins, Handling Losses", with Adam Kingsbury

Friday September 15, 2017 - 8PM

KW Granite Club

Stoked from a win? Heartbroken over a loss? Wins and losses generate intense emotions that can wreak havoc on your performance. Performing well under the pressure of emotions is essential in curling. The secret is not to "avoid" feelings, but to "train" new habits of thinking, feeling and behaving.

This ROCKTalk offers practical tips on how to train yourself individually and as a team to celebrate wins without losing focus, and to bounce back from loss stronger than you may have believed possible.

Adam coached Team Homan to the 2017 Women’s World Curling Championship and 2017 Scotties Tournament of Hearts Championship and will coach them through the 2018 Olympic trials season.

This ROCKTalk is free for registered U18 Phoenix Slam teams.  Cost is $20 for others.
