  • Is Mixed Doubles the right fit for every curler?

  • What makes a good mixed doubles athlete?

  • Should both athletes be strong at the same things?

  • Why juniors should consider Mixed Doubles

  • Playing with only two: how communication is different in Mixed Doubles

This ROCKTalk is free for registered U21/U18 Gemini Mixed Doubles teams of 2 plus coach, $20 for all others.

Jeff Stoughton is one of the most accomplished skips in curling history. Jeff skipped his Manitoba rink to three Brier championships and two World championships. Many try but few succeed in copying Jeff's signature "spinnerama", an entertaining delivery he often thrilled audiences with. In 2015, Jeff shifted from competition into a new role as Manager of the Canadian Mixed Doubles curling program for Curling Canada. In just two short years, Jeff has played a pivotal role in the rapid expansion of this new discipline.

We are honoured to welcome Jeff Stoughton to the launch of our brand new U21/U18 Mixed Doubles Slam. In this ROCKTalk, Jeff will share his thoughts on the future of Mixed Doubles, and the opportunities it presents for young athletes.
