The U20 Imperial Slam moves to a new date this October to the TBD Curling Club, bringing elite competition to a fantastic host on the Junior Slam Series circuit. Running October 30 – November 1, 2026, the Imperial is our second U20 event of the season and a key battleground for teams looking to build momentum heading into the heart of the competitive calendar.
This high-caliber event is open to 10 women’s teams and 10 men’s teams, with a flexible format designed to ensure plenty of quality games. Fields with 8 or more teams will feature a minimum 4-game round robin, leading to an exciting Championship Round on Sunday. All U20 teams are guaranteed at least 4 games, and every event this season includes both Championship and Consolation Finals to maximize meaningful competition.
The Imperial will operate under the official Junior Slam Series competition protocol, including 7-minute pre-game practices, two LSDs to determine hammer, and full coach interaction throughout. The event is also fully sanctioned by Curling Ontario’s Trillium Team Ranking System (TTRS), offering valuable ranking points and a prime opportunity to sharpen your edge for the season ahead.
Whether you’re chasing points, podiums, or simply progression — the Imperial is where U20 teams come to reign.
