The Sapphire is our final U20 event of the season where TTRS points are eligible. Dundas Valley will be our host club for this event and we have room for 8 Women’s and 8 Men’s teams.
The format will be based on the number of entries but a field size of 8 teams or greater will see a minimum 4 game round robin with at least one playoff game. We will be implementing a Championship and Consolation final for each of our U20 events this season. We will be in full compliance with CurlON’s TTRS Points system. All teams for the U20 Sapphire are guaranteed 5 games minimum.
All of the U20 Slam events will utilize an established protocol which will include 5 min pre-game practice, LSD for hammer, and full coach interactions. Prize allocation will be determined by field size and playoff format.
