The Junior Slam Series Turns 10 - And We're Just Getting Started
10 Years and Counting
The Junior Slam Series proudly launches its tenth anniversary season, marking a decade of commitment to excellence, development, and opportunity in youth curling. What began as a bold idea to raise the standard for junior events in Ontario has grown into one of the most respected competitive platforms in Canada. Over the past ten years, we’ve welcomed thousands of young athletes, fostered lifelong friendships, and played a small part in shaping the next generation of curling leaders. This milestone is more than a celebration — it’s a reflection of the passion, community, and vision that have fueled every stone thrown along the way.
This season, we’re taking things to the next level. With the introduction of the new Elite Curling Mixed Doubles Series, expanded opportunities for U20 athletes, and a renewed focus on performance, education, and leadership, the 2025–26 season will honour our roots while driving forward with purpose. Whether you’re returning to the ice or stepping into the JSS for the first time, you’re part of a movement that’s bigger than any one event. This is more than a competition — it’s a launchpad for your journey. And in our tenth year, the journey is just getting started.

Mixed Slams
Strategy meets synergy in the 4-Person Mixed Discipline — a unique and exciting part of the Junior Slam Series that celebrates balanced teams and creative curling. With two girls and two boys per team, the mixed format challenges athletes to adapt, communicate, and collaborate like never before. It’s an ideal setting to build new friendships, test fresh dynamics, and explore curling from a new perspective. Whether you’re forming a new team or entering as a seasoned group, the mixed discipline offers something refreshingly different — and seriously fun.
Mixed Doubles Slams
Get ready for something bold, fast, and completely game-changing — the Elite Curling Mixed Doubles Series has arrived! As part of our 10th anniversary season, we’re launching a six-event tour that brings the intensity and excitement of Mixed Doubles to the forefront of youth curling. Designed for U20 athletes but open to all younger competitors, this series is built for those who want to challenge themselves, play at a higher level, and experience the sport in its most dynamic form. Each event is hosted at a different club, creating a fresh atmosphere and new test at every stop. At each event teams are awarded Mixed Doubles Team Ranking System points complete with a leaderboard as the season progresses. The top teams ranked by MDTRS points compete in a season ending Championship event.
