Time flies and the next thing you know its curling season. The JSS’s very first U15 tour event of the season takes place at the Oakville Curing Club. This event runs concurrently with the U20 Royal Slam and the U18 Phoenix Slam August 30 – September 1, 2024
Our traditional home for this event is the KW Granite Club in Kitchener but this Sept they are undergoing some capital upgrades that will see us move this event temporarily to Oakville for the 2024/25 season.
New for the 2024/25 season will be the JSS Junior Team Ranking System in support of the U15 tour. Please see our news release for the full details on how points are earned at each event.
The U15 Phoenix is a great event for teams just returning to the ice looking for plenty of competition time, ice time, team and development time. Teams looking for a weekend together to gain experience and get back into competition will find this a terrific event.
This early season event is all about getting games, returning to the ice and getting back in the competitive curling mindset. All teams are guaranteed 4 games minimum.
All of the U15 Tour events will utilize an established protocol which will include 5 min pre-game practice, LSD for hammer, full coach interactions, and Saturday lunch included in each entry fee.
