The U18 Apollo Slam is one of our most unique events of the season. This year the Apollo Slam will run at the same time as the WCF Continental Cup in London, Ontario. Our host the London Curling Club is just minutes away from this international event and we’re building a WCF Continental Cup experience into the Apollo Slam. This is one slam you need to mark on your competition calendars.
The London Curling Club plays host for the U18 Apollo Slam and has been our host for 3 years. London CC is a 6 sheets facility with a terrific ice surface and boasts a huge junior program. The U18 Apollo Slam has room for 12 Women’s and 12 Men’s teams.
This event in the past has drawn teams from across Northern & Southern Ontario and the United States and anticipate this to continue this year. If you’re looking for a truly unique event and an opportunity ti experience the WCF Continental Cup to boot, this should be on your schedule.
Format with Full Draw: Pools of 6, Round Robin Games against each team within pool, Guarantee of 4 games. This is a Tier 2 event for JTRS points, assuming a full field.
Championship Round Qualification: Top 6 advance based on Record & Shootout
