Given the growing list of events that have been cancelled due to COVID19, the Junior Slam Series would like to share the following update with respect to the Season End U15 & U18 Players Championship events.
The Junior Slam Series understands that the Players Championship is an event that is looked forward to by many teams as a way to cap off a great curling year. For this reason we have delayed our decision as to whether to hold the event for as long as possible. At this time, Guelph Curling Club, the host club, has made the decision to end their season and while we fully support their decision in these difficult times, it does mean that the Junior Slam Series has no option but to cancel our U15 & U18 Players Championship.
The Junior Slam Series is already planning our Season 5 schedule for next fall. Follow our Facebook page or add yourself to our mailing list (at the bottom of our website) to be sure to get notified when we release our new calendar and for other exciting developments we are planning.
